The Practice Incentives Program (PIP) Quality Improvement (QI) Incentive is a payment to general practices that participate in quality improvement to improve patient outcomes and deliver best practice care.
This education session will provide a practical understanding and guidance on the following:
- how PIP QI data submissions comply with the privacy act and RACGP standards
- updating existing patient informed consent regarding PIP QI data submissions
- updating existing policies and procedures regarding PIP QI data submissions
- meeting the standards for managing privacy and informed consent in General Practice.
Audience: General Practitioners, general practice owners, general practice nurses and practice managers.
